I hate to say it, but Washington feels like it is just going to be outclassed in the Big Ten unless the investment level comes way up and I’m not sure there is a path to do that. They would have been so much better off if there was a viable Pac-12 for them

Here how I would power rank the PAC 12 and MW schools together so far this year. 1. Boise State 2. New Mexico 3. NDSU 4. Oregon State 5. Fresno State 6. UNLV 7. Air Force 8. Texas State 9. Utah State 10. Colorado State 11. SDSU 12. Washington State 13. San Jose State 14. Reno 15. Wyoming 16. Hawaii 17. UTEP 18. NIU And yes, I’m aware there are some head to head issues with this list among other things. SDSU beat Texas state, Texas State beat North Texas who crushed unlv 44-6. Air Force’s QB is hurt. Utah State lost to Idaho State etc. But what remains clear is that Boise is the king of the g6 football world, Jason Eck is absolutely awesome. The bottom of the Mountain West is absolutely on the struggle bus, The bottom of your conference is not important in the slightest, the only thing that matters is the top of your conference, so the fact that the bottom of the MW stinks, is pretty irrelevant so long as it’s top teams continue to perform. Both of these conferences are pretty mediocre to bad overall, but you could say that the ENTIRE G6 this year. The g6 is at its weakest that it has ever been at as a whole.
