so, the countries apparently know that there will be an attack on some of their citizens who are in conformance of every law imaginable, and do … nothing? well, „warn“ them to turn around. that is usually what you do regarding criminal neighborhoods.
Greta Thunberg: Attacks & smear campaigns won’t stop us. This mission is about Gaza—2M people trapped under siege, starved & bombed daily. We call on governments to ensure safe passage & on people everywhere to raise their voices

The world needs to wake up the the fact all our problems are because of politicians. The sooner we do that the sooner we can put our heads together and find a better way of doing things.

Germans can no longer sell cars. So, they will build tanks. But tanks last for decades and consumers don't buy them anyway. That's why Military Keynesianism doesn't work, unless you start one war after the other US-style. Ergo, only fools welcome German Military Keynesianism.

International humanitarian law is clear: Babies are #NotATarget. Children are #NotATarget. Civilians are #NotATarget. Hospitals are #NotATarget. Health care workers are #NotATarget. Schools are #NotATarget. Humanitarians are #NotATarget.

JULIAN ASSANGE IS FREE Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there. He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK. This is the result of a global campaign that spanned grass-roots organisers, press freedom campaigners, legislators and leaders from across the political spectrum, all the way to the United Nations. This created the space for a long period of negotiations with the US Department of Justice, leading to a deal that has not yet been formally finalised. We will provide more information as soon as possible. After more than five years in a 2x3 metre cell, isolated 23 hours a day, he will soon reunite with his wife Stella Assange, and their children, who have only known their father from behind bars. WikiLeaks published groundbreaking stories of government corruption and human rights abuses, holding the powerful accountable for their actions. As editor-in-chief, Julian paid severely for these principles, and for the people's right to know. As he returns to Australia, we thank all who stood by us, fought for us, and remained utterly committed in the fight for his freedom. Julian's freedom is our freedom. [More details to follow]

i don’t even know where to begin on this. and, most probably, what will happen? … nothing. that’s how used we have become to big tech turning to sh*tpiles of epic sizes. this is insane.
I can't believe a paid OS needs a tool like this. Here's a GUI tool called OFGB (Oh Frick Go Back) to remove all the ads in Windows 11. It's understandable if a free OS or app needs ad support, but this is just crazy.

so ... @requarks removed the commenting functionality on the blog – instead of finally releasing the much-vaporized v3.0 of #wikijs . that's one way to do it. cool move. well, i guess there's a beta version end of this year ...
