🍂🎨 Autumn Creativity at our SEND Youth Club! 🍁🖌️ Our young people at St Barts SEND Youth Club have been getting creative, designing and painting their very own autumn-themed masterpieces on canvas! 🎨✨ Using a variety of different painting techniques, they experimented with colours, textures and patterns to capture the beautiful shades and effects of autumn. From warm oranges and golden yellows to rich reds and browns, each canvas was completely unique! 🍃🍂 It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to express their creativity, try something new and enjoy spending time together. We absolutely love seeing their imagination and artistic talents shine! 💛 🌟 Come and join our SEND Youth Clubs! 🌟 Our SEND Youth Clubs provide a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment where children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can make friends, build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities. 🎨🌍 Celebrating Black History Month at SEND Youth! Our SEND Youth group got creative as part of their Black History Month activities, designing their very own African-inspired traditional masks! 🎭 The young people explored the history and cultural significance of masks across different African cultures, learning about their meanings, traditions and the important roles they play in communities. They then looked at a variety of traditional mask designs for inspiration before putting their creativity to work, creating their own unique designs using different patterns, shapes and colours. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about African art and heritage while encouraging creativity, self-expression and an appreciation of different cultures. 👏 Well done to everyone for their brilliant creations! #BlackHistoryMonth #SENDYouth #AmbitionAspireAchieve #AfricanArt #CreativeLearning #BlackHistoryMonth2026 #Newham

🎨 Planning, Creating & Having Their Say at SEND Youth! 💛 Our young people at SEND Youth Club have been getting creative while also helping to shape their own sessions! They started with a group planning session, sharing their ideas and helping to decide which activities they would like to take part in between now and Christmas. 🎄 Giving young people a voice in planning their sessions helps build confidence, independence and decision-making skills, while ensuring the club reflects their interests and gives them activities they can genuinely look forward to.
