Bedrock is getting cosmetic "companions" that follow you around. They will likely be part of the Character Creator.

In version 1.21.10 or even earlier, a lot of these crucial features are finally getting touched again (such a registry being added and packets for client side world generation). All together this means Mojang is working on Jigsaw blocks again. We might get a sweet present soon :3
