Relevance comes from problem framing, verification, and system thinking—technical or not.
Students who chase rote skills are likely to struggle; those who learn reasoning, analysis, judgment, domains, and AI-assisted workflows will adapt. If we believe this, we must address the gaps in how we educate and train our people, especially those who are working with us and those who are currently studying. This needs to be done now, the world as we know it is changing at a speed that we are not keeping pace with.
I recently spoke at Umagine2026 where I said that we are in a Shackleton moment. We have to let go of our ego and accept the fact that software services as we know it is no longer relevant. AI commoditises code. The head count and arbitrage model will be broken. Software engineering, architecture, domain ownership and AI-governed delivery stays relevant. This is a great time where coding is democratised. Build on your ideas, productise them. The Anthropic announcement on building the C compiler with agents in 2 weeks should tell us something.

ஓடிடி தளத்தில் வெளியாகியுள்ள மெய்யழகன் திரைப்படத்தை தீபஒளி நாளில் கண்டு மகிழ்ந்தேன். முன்னோர் வழி, வம்சாவளி, கிராமத்து கல்யாண விருந்து, காளை, பாம்பு, பல்லியுடன் இணைந்த வாழ்க்கை, குடும்பத்தில் 4 பேர் மட்டுமே இருந்தாலும் கூட, பெரிய தாத்தா, சின்ன தாத்தா, அவர்களின் வகையறா என உறவுமுறைகளை இன்றைய இளம் தலைமுறைக்கு எடுத்துக்கூறும் சிறந்த படம். எனது சிறுவயது கிராமத்து நினைவுகளை மீண்டும் முழுமையாக எனக்குள் கொண்டுவந்த படம். நடிகர்கள் கார்த்தி, அரவிந்த் சாமி ஆகியோர் அற்புதமான நடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். இயக்குநர் சி.பிரேம்குமார் பார்வையாளர்களை உறவுக்கூட்டுக்குள் அழைத்துச் சென்றுள்ளார்.
