My remix of WILL K’s Treat You Better is now out everywhere! Loved working on this one, Will has a ton of great elements in the original which made for some fun moments in the remix. Big love to him and @sweatitoutmusic 💜💦

I love djing & I love @sweatitoutmusic so doing a @clubsweaty set made for a lovely combo 🤝 Includes some unreleased tunes, recent faves, head bops & shoulder action. Big love to the sweat team for having me.

Had the pleasure of working with @themagician on another @LykkeLi remix in LA a few months ago - Knife In The Heart (The Magician Remix) out now 🔪🖤🪄
Who remembers this remix or any of the comps it was on?? The only version ever available on streaming was just the first 2 minutes (and it was misspelled, like it was on the vinyl!) but…
…it’s now live everywhere in its full 7 (!) minute glory, just in time for its 20th (?!) anniversary.
Give it a listen to be taken back to a time of very extended mixes, quirky remix names & squelchy bass lines

Seeing as In Love With The Feeling is centred around the chords, I put together a @beatport chart of some of my favourite, most memorable tracks with chords I love. There’s many more great ones, feel free to shout them at me.

I started this track quite a few years ago & I wasn’t sure what direction to take it at the time but the chords always felt great to me. I came back to it at the start of this year & immediately felt like I knew what was missing…
…a fast tempo, big builds & uplifting musical moments, while keeping the chords the focus. Then I got in the studio with the amazing @soundofdakota to write the vocal which brought all the elements together. Hope it can soundtrack some uplifting moments for you! 🎹🩵
New music time! Pumped to share I’m releasing my new track In Love With The Feeling this Thursday!

Got to do some bits on @themagician’s remix of @LykkeLi’s Lucky Again that’s out today. Big love to The Magician for having me involved in the follow up to his absolute classic remix of I Follow Rivers! 🙌❤️
Just dropped my edit of @4everBrandy’s Slower! The original is a personal all-time fave, from an all-time R&B legend (What About Us?! Come on!), produced by an all-time house music legend (Switch) - that puts it in the upper upper echelon IMO!

At the @saluteAUT party last night 1 person asked if I was @chrislake (not the first time that's happened), and later someone else asked for a photo with me - they didn't ask if I was him but I bet that photo's gonna have a Chris Lake tag in it
