Thread part 2 🧵 Every era starts somewhere. For Charli XCX, it was East London warehouse raves. I spoke with Chaz from @thecoolness and he's opened up the archive, with more rare photos & rave flyers

Charli XCX told her origin story on Madonna's Danceteria Afterhours: Hackney Wick, MySpace, Le Couteau Jaune. So I dug out the actual flyers. Here's the 2008–09 East London warehouse era that made her. Thread incoming! 🧵

It takes so many people to produce and write a pop song nowadays—The Grammys feels like entire Football teams going onstage plus the u21 and physios—to accept an award. Widescreen tellies became ubiquitous in the 90s but modern camera lenses are no longer wide enough. #GRAMMYs

Is #RagnBoneMan none other than #JamesCorden? He who has been marooned in Alibi, Dalston for the past 6 months. Armed with nothing but a stick n poke tattoo set, some Allsaints /Urban Outfitters gift vouchers, a copy of Mobys ‘Play’ & no access to razor? #britawards2018
