New work for hat maker Awon Golding.
Awon’s creations have graced the heads of global icons, but the brand needed a glow up to compliment the hats.
We designed an elegant & joyful visual identity inspired by the hats, with a playful tone of voice. Topped off with a new logo.
New type and a new print!
We’ve always been missing a fat face serif in wood type—so @PauloBarnesi created one for us, Type High Design cut it, and we printed some nonsense with it.

We chose to create a cover for @thespecials We Sell Hope. A giant bar code, and number-letter cypher spelling out HOPE, letterpress printed by hand, with a pop of neon inside.

This is such a great festival of design! We only managed to catch the final day, and there was so much more to see, but here are some of the things we loved.
This time last week we were at @3daysofdesign in Copenhagen. These was so much inspirational design to see, but we’ve captured our favourite bits on our journal.
We’d recommend a visit next year.
