oomf's caption is so funny because this is where cailun said i want to kill the screenwriter because she wrote such long ass dialogues and scenes. This is probably the longest scene of this series so no wonder😭😭

hello is this luck did more with 4 episodes than 90% of thai gls that have 3 times the number of episodes
just witnessed hello is this luck slander to praise the most horrible or mid ass gls and i just need to remind everyone of the amazing wonder that is LeemhaiNa. in all their craziness, jealousy, and mental illness was a beautiful and tender relationship that blossomed even through the issues. this show did more in 4 well written and directed episodes than most do in double or triple that runtime and i stand 10 toes down on that opinion.

i like how ayahiro handles age gap & power imbalance too. they incorporate it into the dynamics of their relationship and their narrative quite seriously, rather than just treating it as a mere fantasy or trope.

A story should not lose its chance to be told simply because it doesn’t fit into familiar expectations. The growth of Thai GL depends on taking creative risks.
The Dragon, based on Salmon’s novel, represents the kind of storytelling that Thai GL really needs.
There is so much potential in this project. A world built around complex characters, powerful women, conflict, ambition, secrets and relationships that deserve to be explored in depth. It offers an opportunity to bring something different to the GL landscape and show audiences just how diverse this genre can be.
The future of Thai GL should not be defined by how closely every production follows an already successful formula. Growth comes from diversity, creative risks and giving different stories the opportunity to find their audience.
We want to see The Dragon come to life. Not just because we love the story, but because we believe there should be room for stories like this in the future of Thai GL.

forgot to explain why they both started laughing when xu was saying all the female colleagues getting a day off. So 女同事(Nǚ tóngshì) means female colleagues which is also a slang for lesbians because it's sounds similar to 女同/女同性恋(nǚtóng/nǚtóngxìngliàn)

I'm glad someone talking about this scene. I really love this scene because here you actually get more insights on their personality and ideologies. Jingxi believes in building community while wen shan is hyper individualistic, one shouldn't help others at one's own disadvantage
