To be a pilot you need a PPL, pass the FAA test, log 80 hours of flight time, 10 hours solo, then a cross country solo.
THEN for Learjets, you have to get IR and MEL ratings, commercial pilot certification, get endorsed, and insured with about 800 flight hours.

I really hate to say what I’m about to say right now…
but if I got on a flight and this was the pilot, I genuinely think I would have said “I’m so sorry, I can’t fly today” and gotten off that jet.
I usually do not judge people by their gender, age, or anything like this but if my life is literally in your hands…I don’t know man, it’s very different.
