Campus trash pickup. An underrated team activity that high school sports should do regularly.
Can’t tell how frustrating it is to watch your campus littered on a regular basis.
✅ Easy to do
✅ Culture builder
✅ Life lessons
Well done! 👏
Campus trash pick up, Academic Wednesday tutorials, open field, and volunteer coaching at @CFISDWilson’s after school soccer club! Just another Wednesday! #CommunityImpact #TheresNoPlaceLikeLakes @CFISDCyLakes @lakes_athletics
Everything you said is entirely wrong. Nike doesn't have minimums for these items. Soccer coaches can order 2-3 items at nearly every available vendor without an extra $50 charge per item* for screen printing. No individual team is getting money or upfront items from their district from these deals.
We have receipts.
Your entire argument is we’re not educated enough, we’re not focusing on the bigger picture or we lack an understanding of how business works.
Laughable. Continue telling coaches they’re uneducated and they need to just do 2-3 times the work on top of their current workloads.

you are only focusing on how this effects soccer program not the entire athletic department
The same way you would be upset if one of your players was only focused on himself and not the success of the team.
Lots of talk of BSN lately
Here’s a small example of what soccer coaches deal with:
- Athletic directors sign a contract with BSN. You’re told you get 40% off Nike items. You’re forced to use them.
Soccer Coach needs to order 3 Nike goalkeeper jerseys with catalog price $69.99 + screen printing fee. With the discount and printing fee maybe it’s $55-65 per jersey. You think you’re going to get a decent deal. Wrong. BSN has a minimum order of 10 that have to be ordered or you’re punished with a $50 per item fee on top of the discount/hiked printing fee.
Your 3 goalkeeper jersey’s went from being $55-$65 per jersey to $115 per jersey.
All because your AD wanted some kickbacks, sweet gear for themselves and the football programs.
Make it make sense.
The worst part is when your athletic department signs the sweetheart deal getting kickbacks and “discounts” while you’re forced to use BSN exclusively or other providers teapawt.org/coachbarrier/status/21…
Cool story here. Shout out to @ahscoltsoccer and Coach Jeff Waldrop for making such an impact on so many soccer players throughout the years.
We may disagree with officiating decisions or question some calls, but this is Exhibit A why nobody wants to be an official.

More than soccer. We’re building men who will make a difference in this world. The time, effort, and commitment these young men put in deserve to be admired. Passion and commitment are NON-NEGOTIABLE in our program. Men of character & integrity. Una Hermandad-Una Misión-Un Legado
