If you miss me on Halloween, double feature Halloween 6 (Either Cut, but Producer’s preferred) and The Blair Witch Project and I’ll be with you in spirit.
Happy Samhain, especially to my Pagan sisters @WorldOfTigra and @shirleyquinn77.
The 2000s fucking sucked. Movies sucked, comics sucked, foreign policy sucked. The 2020s are only just now ARGUABLY getting worse.
If I were unfortunate enough to have been an adult in the 2000s, the prequels probably would have been the one thing keeping me sane.

George reusing "Love Pledge and Arena" is no mistake.
Anakin pledges allegiance to palpatine and the temple is his arena to MERC younglings. It's the antithesis of his heroic and romantic actions in Episode II.
"it's like poetry, it rhymes"
Attack of the Clones is the movie The Last Jedi wishes it was.
TLJ is better than Phantom Menace though, I’ll give you that.

Being too thick to pick up on three entire movies of foreshadowing in a series designed to be understood by 12-year-olds doesn't mean it came out of nowhere actually

it's why Wilson fled to bluesky
the Ivy fandom, PoisonIvyLeague, had a rep, because we went after Tom King when he first lied and started character assassinating her
she knew she'd RIGHTLY get called out for her bullshit
Fuck DC.
There's more I want to say, but I'm trying with every muscle in my body to be nice to the G. Willow Wilson stans even when their support of this dogshit run has turned me off ever buying a mainline continuity DC comic for the foreseeable future.

yeah, for a small window it looked like DC would do something interesting with Ivy. The potential is there, but no.
generic bat villain it is
yawn
and they wonder why younger generations are looking elsewhere
Stalked.
I was thinking G. Willow Wilson’s Poison Ivy series, since Stalked had absolutely zero impact on Ivy’s arc and development as a character, but Stalked being erased from history would erase so many misconceptions and bad takes on the character.
And Paul Dini agrees!

the Harley Quinn show making Joker actually funny is one of the highlights of the show
And just like that I care about superhero movies again.
Shawn Levy's ‘GHOST RIDER’ will be shot on film.
Linus Sandgren (‘Dune: Part 3’) is the cinematographer.

If you removed the DC branding people would be like "why did they make The Substance again" lol
