Beautiful moon bear Leika has been safe in our sanctuary since 2008. She's enjoyed 11 years of peace and happiness, free from the cruelty of her early years in captivity. We hope to have the privilege of caring for her for many more years to come 🐻❤️

Health check is underway and Vet Mandala is performing an ultrasound to look for tumours and damage to the gall bladder from repeated bile extraction. Fingers crossed she'll have good news for us soon. #NoNameBearRescue
