Pat Murphy: I hope every young manager and player out there learns from him about how he expresses himself about his team, about being genuine, being honest and a real human.

If the phone does not ring Saturday, it does not mean no. It means not yet, or not them. The 2028 class will be recruited for another eighteen months. One date does not define a player.
Red Sox play the Mets in New York next weekend! This should be interesting if Yan strikes out Willson Contreras 😬
Big shout out to @RyanBrewer32 and @LynnVanland with @FiveToolTexas for their hospitality and love to my son at the Pudge WS in Melissa today! It means a lot to me and @Sandlot_Tulsa to include him and make him comfortable in a place he’s not familiar with #autism #greatdudes

Fact!!!
Different!! 👏👏
Kids who love the game! Who watch it on TV. Who have a favorite MLB team. Who have favorite players. Who can have conversations with adults about teams and players and know what they are talking about.
These kids are different. Coincidentally they also tend to have a higher baseball IQ, better mechanics, and ENJOY practicing because to them even practice is like playing!!
Fact!!!
Players.
If you're all in.
Be a leader.
Hold your teammates accountable.
You can do it.
Your teammates will buy in.
If you're not all in.
Shut your mouth.
Know your place.
and
Be willing to be led by the dudes that are all in.
Fake leadership destroys teams.
Great teams have great player led leadership.

Taught @Laiton21 how I threw my slider a few years back. This one from the other night reminded me of how my awesome catchers I’ve had the privilege to throw to over years would tell me. Much different seeing it from this POV compared to from the mound. Keep slingin it kid!!
