I'm giving away 50 Gigabytes of Mac storage.
โ Instantly finds duplicate files
โ Strips dead Intel code out of your apps
โ Nukes hidden developer trash
Except I don't own the storage, it's already on your Mac. You just couldn't find it.
I built MacSlice to hunt down the junk macOS hides from you so you don't have to buy a new hard drive.

Before you start stressing about reaching 10k followers.
Stop for a second and look at where you are today.
A few months ago, getting 100 views felt like a massive win.
Never forget that your current reality is what you used to wish for.
Some posts will get 50 views. Some will get 5,000.
Do not attach your self-worth to an algorithm.
Just keep showing up and shipping.
I am the kind of builder who will like and reply to your posts just to support the grind.
Building solo is hard enough.
You have to give energy to the community before you expect anything back.
Most people don't even realize you can run local AI models completely free on your own laptop with zero latency.
You are still early.
The zero-cloud solo tech stack that scales to 10,000 users on a $0 server bill:
1. Data: Local-first SQLite on device (instant speed, zero database hosting costs)
2. State: CRDT sync over WebSockets (works 100% offline out of the box)
3. Compute: Edge workers on Cloudflare (zero containers, zero server management)
4. AI: WebGPU and on-device models for daily tasks, frontier APIs only for deep reasoning
5. Payments: Hosted checkout via Lemon Squeezy (zero custom billing code)
If your product does not need a massive cloud cluster, do not build one.
The highest-margin software runs on the user's machine, not your cloud credit balance.

Officially crossed 1,400 builders today. ๐
Building solo at 23 has its chaotic days, but this community makes the entire grind worth it.
Truly grateful for everyone who reads, replies, and supports the journey.
If you are building in tech or startups, drop what you are working on below.

Crossed the $1,000 milestone (+21% total return).
Top performers carrying the portfolio:
โข Microsoft ($MSFT): +38%
โข Apple ($AAPL): +32%
โข Philip Morris ($PM): +25%
โข Coca-Cola ($KO): +22%
โข JPMorgan ($JPM): +21%
Only semiconductor chips ($ASML & $TSM) sitting in the red.
Rate the portfolio 1 to 10. What would you add or drop next?
Be honest: if you see another creator blow up with a cool post format, do you copy it or ignore it?
Tell me the truth.
I'll be honest, I definitely try it haha.
Did you know Chrome, Edge, Slack, and VS Code all run on the exact same engine?
How many people actually know what Chromium is?
Does the follower-to-following ratio actually matter to you in 2026?
1. More followers = credibility
2. Equal ratio = genuine community
3. Nobody cares, only content matters
Hey everyone! How many of you schedule your posts?
Do you schedule 1 or 2 posts, or all the posts for the whole day?
Serious question for builders:
Are you writing code on Mac or Windows today?
Could you ever switch back, or is Apple Silicon a one-way street?
I'm building my startup 100% solo.
In the AI era, is going solo the ultimate leverage, or still a burnout trap?
a) Ultimate leverage
b) Guaranteed burnout
c) Works until you scale
I just crossed 20K on my climb to 500K verified impressions.
To actually accelerate my daily velocity, what should I focus on next?
a) Increasing daily post volume (3x to 5x)
b) Growing verified mutual followers
c) High-effort replies on bigger accounts
d) Focusing purely on viral debate questions
Day 5 of tracking the 500K climb publicly.
Day 1: 14.8K
Day 2: 16.2K (+1,400)
Day 3: 17.9K (+1,700)
Day 4: 19.4K (+1,500)
Day 5: 20.8K (+1,400)
Total: +6,000 verified impressions in 96 hours.
Honestly thought we were going to touch 22K today. Fell a little short, but officially broke through the 20K ceiling.
The biggest takeaway:
You cannot force the algorithm to skip steps. When you're early, compounding looks almost completely linear: +1,400 to +1,700 every single morning.
The temptation is to get impatient and switch tactics. The actual play is doing the boring work and showing up anyway.
Did your growth stay in this steady linear lane, or did an inflection point hit out of nowhere?
The software moat has completely flipped:
In 2024:
โข "How clean is your codebase?"
โข "How complex is your distributed system?"
โข "How big is your engineering team?"
In 2026:
โข "How fast can you talk to users?"
โข "How strong is your personal distribution?"
โข "How small can your team stay while printing cash?"
Writing code was commoditized.
Product taste and user trust are the only moats left.
Real talk for builders:
At what point did you realize that running local open-source models on Apple Silicon is actually good enough to cancel your $200 monthly proprietary API bills?
Or is frontier reasoning still non-negotiable for your core product?
The modern solo founder tech stack that scales to $10k MRR with near-zero overhead:
1. Database: SQLite + Litestream (Zero maintenance, zero latency)
2. Backend: A single Go or Rust binary on a $5 VPS
3. Frontend: Server-rendered HTML with Tailwind or Vanilla CSS
4. AI: Small local models for routine tasks, frontier API only for reasoning
5. Support: Discord community and direct founder DMs
Complexity does not equal revenue.
The fastest way to kill a startup is configuring enterprise infrastructure for zero users.
