Few modern field watches capture their military roots quite like the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 36mm. Inspired by the rare FAPD 5101 produced for U.S. Air Force navigators in 1970, this interpretation stays remarkably close to the original while incorporating modern mechanical watchmaking. The 36mm stainless steel case retains the original’s proportions with a matte finish, fixed strap bars, and box-shaped acrylic crystal. Its black dial features contrasting Arabic numerals, an inner 24-hour military time scale, and vintage-style lume. The manually wound H-50 movement delivers an 80-hour power reserve and retains the original’s protective internal dust cover. Water resistance is rated to 100 meters. Hamilton also offers a non-numbered 2026 Special Edition (H69399930) with the same design and specifications that will only be produced through the end of 2026.
