Random snipe on Vinted, not complaining for £3, good to get a physical copy in the collection...
Sensational
Made the workflow I've run for the last year native to the app!
Obsidian 1.15.0 (early access) is now available to Catalyst members!
- Mermaid diagrams use our new rendering engine, Pele, which renders up to 500 times faster and uses your theme's colors and fonts.
- Voice capture on iOS: Quick Capture can record and transcribe voice notes as you speak, even from the Lock Screen.
- PDF export on mobile.
- Smarter list editing: indenting or moving a list item now moves nested items too.
- Accent-insensitive search: cafe matches café in suggestions.
- New URI and CLI commands to append or prepend content under a heading.
- Filters in Bases can now be reordered.
- Community plugins load faster when Obsidian starts.
Another afternoon spent editing the hero rather than making content, will have everything put together soon!
I've been using Skool to run the PARAZETTEL Community for a year and a half, but paying $99/month for a rigid platform with limited features frustrated me.
There also wasn't much scope to change how the content was organised, so I've built a solution on Obsidian. Of course.
Introducing learn.parazettel.com, the PARAZETTEL Platform!
Right now it hosts Foundations, our live call calendar, and the courses and resources we've shared over the last three years, including the former flagship PARAZETTEL Obsidian vault.
This is another demonstration of how powerful Obsidian can be. I'm using it as the content backend for a learning platform, as well as for the website where I host all my articles.
We'll be hosting a workshop soon on how I'm using Obsidian to run multiple websites across multiple endeavours, and where AI and cloud agents fit into the process.
The art of the landing page Hero
It's time for a fresh coat of paint site-wide as I welcome in the new PARAZETTEL Platform...
Also zoom in for a sneak preview of the new PARAZETTEL Platform!
Just bought a new mechanical keyboard - intending to travel less for a while (at least until next year, so I thought I'd upgrade things.
But now I need to buy a mouse - any suggestions? Because I don't really know what I'm looking for. Anything that's high quality has a shout, just let me know!
2000 followers on Medium! This is where it all started for me, so thank you if you've ever read an article, a tweet or watched a video, keeping the journey going.
Lots more to come, today no less -- keep your eyes peeled!
Getting fried by context switching instead of sustained focus 😂 I experience this all too much
Just because we can run 100 concurrent sessions at a time doesn’t mean we should.
I think we are going to see a lot of people burning out because of the speed they are working at with AI.
It’s sneaky. Because at first glance it looks like AI is doing the heavy lifting. But you are carrying the decisions, the orchestration, the ideas. And no matter what anybody says… when you amp that by 100x it’s going to take a toll.
Personally I’ve had to limit how much work in progress I do with my agents.
Again just becuase you can run at 100m an hour doesn’t mean you should.
Always find these funny, perhaps it’s good but I’ve been using Wispr flow from the start and all its context that it has about the custom words that I say is invaluable
Not to mention I can just pop it on if I have an important call and have notes from the call, and access it all from MCP
was told that it would be the first to fall but right now I don’t see it going anywhere
Apparently you need a cloud subscription to get accurate dictation 🤡
Bullshit.

Oh, if someone you know pays $15/month for dictation, send them this. And laugh 😂
I never thought I'd see the day, but I'm deleting more and more visual media editing apps now in favour of AI-based design.
Of course I'll still keep Luminar Neo/Lightroom for my own photographs but for graphic + web design (to the extent that I partake in it), there's a tool out there that can do it better.
Affinity was the latest to go...
