If he takes a leap, and I mean a legitimate leap, not the generic way so many of us flippantly use the word…. But a serious leap, then it’s curtains for the East, idc…. Philly included. He has elite intangibles already, if he puts it all together this season to be a consistent scorer off the bench (but with starter-level ability), coupled with his defensive talent, then Orlando doesn’t have to just concede bench minutes to opposing teams anymore. Higher shooting % and that includes free throws (something I’ve wanted him to work on for a while) will be key. Already puts great pressure on the rim. He could even wind up starting with 4 coming in as the 6th man. We’ll see how much he improves after this summer and how Sweeney plans on utilizing everyone.
