Zetwerk is now listed on the NSE and BSE. I joined in March, so I’ve seen only a small slice of this journey. Most of it was built long before I walked in, by people who spent years doing unglamorous work nobody ever posts about. What has struck me in these months is how seriously this team takes the work. Finance, legal and secretarial teams who ran an IPO calendar that rarely let them sleep. Founders who set a very high bar and then show up. Hat tip to the incredible HR team nd legal. A quiet note of pride for my own team in marketing and communications. Telling the story of a company like @Zetwerk, through a quiet period where every word gets weighed twice, is a craft. They did it with care, speed and good humour. There’s a lot more coming. To our customers who trust us with what they make, our supplier partners, our investors and advisors, and every Zetsetter, past and present: thank you. Grateful to be part of this chapter. As @acharyaamrit puts it: Back to work on Monday. #Zetwerk #Manufacturing

What a beautiful film by the good folks at @AccelIndia featuring the makers of tomorrow!
For eight years, @Zetwerk, you’ve been turning the biggest of ideas into reality. And in that spirit, we thought we’d introduce you to prototypes of the future from your toughest customers yet. After all, most inventions start with a child asking, “What if?” Congratulations on your IPO, Zetwerk. We can’t wait to see what you make next. #AccelFamily • @prayanks • @acharyaamrit • @srinathramki

not me tearing up at a film about factories🥹 Lightspeed found such a sweet way to celebrate the people who build everything around us. congratulations @acharyaamrit @srinathramki and team Zetwerk🌸
A pair of earbuds is a few grams of plastic, metal and electronics, made across several factories before it reaches a pocket. Solar panels, circuit boards and wind turbines are built the same way. For years, buyers had to juggle those factories themselves, while the one with exactly the right machine often never heard about the order. ZETWERK (@zetwerk) set out to close that gap. We first partnered with Amrit Acharya (@acharyaamrit) and Srinath Ramakkrushnan (@srinathramki) in 2019. Since then, that idea has grown into a network of nearly 7,000 suppliers, serving customers in 29 countries across energy, precision products and capital goods. Along the way, Zetwerk has brought work to builders from workshops in India to factory floors in Germany. Amrit and Srinath were joined by Vishal Chaudhary, Ankit Fatehpuria and Rahul Sharma in their journey. Today, Zetwerk’s name goes up on the NSE and BSE. Behind that name are thousands of people who built it, one part at a time. Congratulations Amrit, Srinath and the entire Zetwerk team. This film is for all of you, and everyone who builds with you. @bsomaia

Today, @zetwerk goes public. A group of friends and former colleagues set out to prove that a workshop in a small town could earn the trust of the world's largest companies. 26 factories in four countries later, it has. #AccelFamily • @prayanks • @acharyaamrit • @srinathramki

An exciting day for the @zetwerk team.   Eight years ago, @acharyaamrit and @srinathramki set out to restructure global manufacturing around reliability.   Today, Zetwerk is going public with the same commitment to on-time and in-full delivery. When a customer’s order arrives in full on the date promised, the many years of waiting on suppliers shrinks and once scattered capacity becomes plannable.   From a young marketplace to a manufacturing ecosystem now serving customers in 29 countries. Congratulations on the listing Amrit, Srinath and team! @LightspeedIndia @lightspeedvp

A lot of the hardest technology problems don’t look like technology from the outside. Getting the right part to the right machine, on the right factory floor, for the right order, across nearly 7,000 suppliers, is one of them. @zetwerk made that work for customers in 29 countries, and then went on to build its own factories and take on harder products. It’s been a privilege for Lightspeed to be part of their journey from the early days. Congratulations Amrit Acharya (@acharyaamrit), Srinath Ramakkrushnan (@srinathramki) and the whole Zetwerk team on the listing!

Zetwerk is now listed on the NSE and BSE. To everyone who helped build Zetwerk, thank you. We hope you feel proud today. To our new shareholders, welcome. We have a lot more to build. Here’s to building an enduring manufacturing company from India, for India and the world.

Useful this is. If you haven’t already set up a scheduled morning brief on Claude. Run my morning brief using the morning skill (load it with the Skill tool, name "morning", and follow it). This is an unattended scheduled run: just render the brief, don't ask questions or suggest connectors. Language: English. Home timezone: Asia/Calcutta. My name: JPK. Cover: what's on my calendar today (Google Calendar), important unread or unanswered emails where I'm the one being asked (Gmail), any chat messages if a chat tool is connected, and anything that needs my attention today, including prep for tomorrow's meetings. Keep it short and scannable. Never use em dashes anywhere in the brief. Publish the brief as an artifact and send me a short message with the one or two things that most need me today.

If you’re going to do this make sure you write in some security rules with Claudes help. @sdrth makes a good point in replies.

Should just fight wars in a simulation.
We’re launching the Army of Robots. In 2022, we launched the Army of Drones. Today, drones account for over 95% of battlefield strikes, and Ukraine has more than 700 UAV manufacturers. Now we need the next technological breakthrough: the robotization of warfare. The goal is simple — save lives. Robots should take on the most dangerous missions: evacuating the wounded, delivering ammunition, mining and demining, reconnaissance, defending positions and engaging targets. The Army of Robots is not one company. It’s an ecosystem. We will invest in defense tech companies, launch our own technology projects, test them with the military and scale what works on the battlefield. We’re now looking for defense tech companies and engineers working on robotic technologies — as well as a CTO / Tech Lead for the Army of Robots. Join us: thearmyofrobots.com/en

EXTREMELY SAVVY move by @finkd to release no-camera smart glasses 🤓 Has anyone created a pendent or glasses that you can authenticate with any genetic platform (@bot @claudeai etc)? I would like to incubate/fund that product… @openclaw for smart glasses 🤔

One thing that frustrates writers these days is even their ORIGINAL WRITING gets called AI SLOP 🤷‍♂️ Thank you for your attention to this matter.

You’ll have to develop an extremely distinct style. It might mean studying slop and distinguishing.

Excellent pov from @WarpaintJournal. I have been guilty of thinking this way in the past but realised how much it affects people (including myself sometimes when others do it).
