FWIW, I think filmmakers and studios should speak directly to the fans with behind-the-scenes production blogs, etc., not exclusives with traditional print media. Say what you will about The Hobbit movies, but I loved PJ's BTS VLOGs and willingness to invite fan sites like @theoneringnet to the set.
