Two weeks ago I kicked off a loop to move OpenClaw's Lit-based Web frontend to Solid 2.0.
Took ~6 days until we could remove Lit, and another week to move patterns to idiomatic Solid.
I checked in with the session every other day, overall the process was mostly automatic. Took about ~600 PRs.

An AI could generate speech incredibly fast and still feel slow to talk to.
Here's why:
There are two different kinds of speed.
→ How soon the response starts.
→ How much the model generates per second.
Aoden's hypothetical example: even if you could generate 10 hours of audio in 2 seconds, the user couldn’t listen to it in 2 seconds.
In conversation, the wait before the response matters more.
For coding, he puts more weight on how quickly the finished code arrives.
But many architecture choices trade one kind of speed against the other.
That’s why he expects voice models to move away from LLM-style architectures toward designs more focused on reaction time.
Not because generating audio faster has no value.
Because generating more speech doesn’t solve the silence before the first word.
