Encouraging Ad Hominem Intellectuals shame the usage of ad hominem i.e. when you use an argument against a person rather than their ideas. But isn't the source of ideas the person itself? Don't you think the qualities they embody shape their thoughts? Shouldn't the source be considered for those biases? Which is why, the usage of ad hominem shouldn't be just approved of. But rather celebrated and welcomed with the same intellectual rigour. It's not a surprise why fat people are unable to see the virtue and beauty in being fit. If you're ugly you'd ofcourse devalue the material world and give more importance to intellectualism, etc.

I hate people who delegate personal responsibilities to other institutions. I have deep dislike for those who start criticizing the education to justify there and others incompetency. I was in a private engineering institute and felt the same. But instead of crying about it, me and my friend decided to do something about it and built a community to solve that. We learned our skills not through college, but by externalizing our curiousity and learning about things that were not in the curriculum. I believe educational institutions are only as good as you want them to be. If they fail to deliver, remember you have jio.
