Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has recommended — and President Donald J. Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.
The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.

Ted Turner Gets Candid About Power, Media & Success | Carson Tonight Show
orig air date: APR 24, 1986
The headline:
"You thought the presidents of the networks should be shot for treason."
The explanation:
"There are a lot of violent programs on during prime time on network television. And a lot of kids see those shows. They shouldn't be seeing them, in my opinion."📺

Ted Turner won the 37th America's Cup in 1977⛵🏆
A few things that caught my attention:
• "Mr. President (JFK)"
• JFK = "Just Fu•king Kidding" (slang reference)
• Ted Turner was the Founder of CNN and often jokingly referred to as "Captain Outrageous" or "Mr. President" in media circles.
He was also Commodore/President of Brown University's sailing team during his college years.
Then there's this line:
"Prayer said every single day in the OO."
My mind immediately goes to:
📷 OO = Camera Lenses
📺 CNN Control Room
🎙️ LIVE TV: On a Wing and a Prayer🤣
CNN's launch itself has often been described as a huge gamble—almost a "wing and a prayer" operation.
Then we have:
SOCITIES
➡️ So.Cities (missing period?)
➡️ Southern Cities? Atlanta, GA?
Ted passed away on May 6, 2026
And another number that keeps appearing with Ted:

BREAKING NEWS: The Atlanta Braves announce the death of franchise legend Bob Horner at the age of 68.
Horner was the 1978 NL Rookie of the Year, a four-time All-Star, and one of the most feared power hitters of his era — blasting 218 career home runs, including a legendary four-home run game in 1986.
A cornerstone of Braves baseball throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, Horner hit .277 for his career with an .839 OPS and 685 RBI.
SWASHBUCKLING
“Swashbuckling” comes from the old word swashbuckler, which originally described a loud, swaggering swordsman — somebody clanking around with a sword (“buckler” = small shield) acting bold and fearless.

Jane Fonda on Ted Turner - May 06, 2026
"He swept into my life, a gloriously handsome, deeply romantic, swashbuckling pirate" and I've never been the same.
Buckle Up?👀
I watched this rereleased Ted Turner/Charlie Rose interview from Jul 23, 2004. Very entertaining and informative.
Ted was 65 (he died 5/6)🤔
Ted was humbled in this interview and surprisingly open about his struggles, failures, and regrets. At times, you could still sense that competitive fire in him — maybe even a desire for Revenge.🤣
Whether you agreed with him or not, Ted Turner was never boring.
