As we celebrate the cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples, and stand with Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island, we must continue to advance reconciliation by reflecting on legacy of colonization and ongoing systemic racism.
Our journey to reconciliation did not begin today, and it does not end here. We must do better, which involves Indigenous Peoples leading the way forward.
