The Egg Theory is a philosophical thought experiment proposing that every human being who has ever lived or will ever live is actually the exact same single consciousness experiencing life from different perspectives. It postulates that we are all one and the same. One consciousness existing all at once. And because everyone is you at a different point in time, hurting another person is hurting yourself, and being kind to another person is being kind to yourself.
