I wish we could all just be adults and acknowledge that no one is giving financial advice on X so we don't have to always preface with "NFA". If you're getting financial advice from the same spot that you can see porn or interact with bots from foreign countries... g'luck
yo @alexandr_wang you going to take this?
i have stink bids in for $sofi here incase they run it down today in intervals before end of day for earnings tomorrow.. all the way through $13 never know.
ole moness crespi knows what’s up
SoFi Technologies $SOFI initiated with a Buy at Monness Crespi
Monness Crespi initiated coverage of SoFi Technologies with a Buy rating and $20 price target.
The BNPL share of spending and neobanks' share as a portion of spending and lending have risen meaningfully over the past decade, though the next leg depends on intensity of use and some change in customer mix, the analyst tells investors in a note.
release the c class shares!
$META filed an S-3 shelf registration with the SEC, allowing it to offer common stock, preferred stock, warrants and other securities in future offerings.
The filing does not specify an offering size, price or timing.
The move comes as Meta expands its financing options to support massive AI investments.
overturning that fumble was silly.
should have stayed as called on the field; nothing definitive about that review.
why are the referees and review booths so trash lately in ncaa and nfl?
$sofi needs to build their own tokenized stock exchange, like robinhood did.
same with their loan fulfillment process, etc.
once the backbone in their platform goes entirely on chain, sofiusd and sofie will likely be much easier to use and interact with
they need to phase out “cash” to make it all less confusing….
just my $0.02
seen a few bearish takes on x about people not needing ai or using it outside of their day job, and i’d like to simply say bull shit.
everytime you type into google search you’re now using ai.
when you ask it how to do something and it gives instructions instead of links, ai.
Here’s my thoughts on how to expand $sofie adoption.
The play is embedding the bank account itself, and $SOFI is the only company in crypto holding both ends of that trade.
Here is how it works. SoFi Tech Platform, the Galileo business SoFi already runs for roughly 160 million accounts, lets a partner embed real SoFi Bank account opening inside its own app through APIs. The user onboards once, passes KYC once, and becomes an actual depositor of SoFi Bank without ever leaving the exchange.
Idle dollars sweep into SOFIE and earn 4.40% APY as an FDIC-insured deposit. The moment the user trades, the balance converts 1:1 into SoFiUSD and settles on SoFi's 24/7 network; the moment they stop, proceeds sweep back into the deposit and earn again. The exchange owns the screen. SoFi owns the balance sheet. The user owns an insured bank account.
Who might be interested in doing this? The partners are obvious once you look at who has a yield problem. Gemini's brand is regulated US trust, but its Earn product died with Genesis and its only stablecoin offer today is rewards on RLUSD. Bullish is already SoFi's first announced exchange partner for SoFiUSD institutional trading; the deposit sweep is the next step, aimed at the largest idle cash pool in the market. Bitstamp has no stablecoin yield product at all. Kraken's parent already agreed to list SoFiUSD and join the settlement network, while its US retail rewards pay just 1.75% by default and its high-rate product is accredited-only. Every one of them has either a hole, a scar, or a gap exactly the size of this product.
The benefits run both directions. The exchange gets a headline yield product with none of the costs that come with the current versions: no rewards bill funded from marketing, no lending book carrying tail risk, no yield program sitting under regulatory review.
Balances that earn insured yield are balances that stay. SoFi gets the thing banks kill for: deposits at scale with no branches. Those deposits are cheap, durable funding for its loan book, gathered through partners who pay for the platform, while SoFiUSD circulation grows on rails SoFi controls.
And this is where SOFIE separates from every other "yield" stablecoin offer in the market. A stablecoin itself cannot pay you interest; the GENIUS Act bans issuer yield outright. What other platforms call yield is one of three workarounds: exchange-funded rewards that can be cut at any time and usually hide behind a subscription, lending programs where your coins are lent out and you become the platform's unsecured creditor (the structure that zeroed Celsius, BlockFi, and Voyager customers), or an issuer sharing reserve income with the platform and hoping some of it reaches you. SOFIE skips the workarounds. The yield is actual bank interest on an actual deposit, insured by the FDIC, bankruptcy-remote from the exchange holding your trading account. If the platform fails, your deposit is not in the room. It earns until the second you trade, because the thing earning and the thing moving are two separate instruments built for exactly that split.
None of the embedding is announced yet; SOFIE is still rolling out to SoFi's own members. But the rails are public, the partners are identifiable, and the first exchange that embeds a bank deposit instead of lending its customers' coins changes what every other exchange has to answer for. Watch partner announcements, not token listings.
👋 @anthonynoto just a thought…
… i just used muse to find registered sex offenders so i knew what areas to avoid for trick or treating with the kiddos
… sick world, weird use case, but still useful.
… wasn’t even sure i should share this idea… but here’s a cute image to make it less dark.
