I wrote a huge post about how to use @tilt_dev for rapid controller development. I go from zero to attaching a debugging and hot swapping with a real life open source project. You can read about it here: skarlso.github.io/2023/02/25… #Kubernetes

Interesting tool of the week: tilt.dev/ by @tilt_dev We like: Define all the containers and services in complex (microservices) applications to manage local dev with a single `tilt up` command. Config file uses a dialect of Python so it can be programmed

This is an awesome release from the @tilt_dev team! I ❤️ Tilt! If you have lots of non-core services, this UX is amazing🔥. It balances discoverability with resource consumption!
📣 Does your Tiltfile define lots of resources, but you only need to work with a few of them at a time? You can now bulk disable (and re-enable) from the Overview, or toggle them one-by-one when you’re viewing logs. → Available in Tilt v.0.24.0+ github.com/tilt-dev/tilt/rel…

Replying to @beyang @tilt_dev
Tilt has helped us develop natively in the cloud. It's pretty incredible being able to edit a file locally, see the docker container rebuild, and the k8s cluster restart the service. It all just works.

When your app consists of many resources, you'll want to spin up only the ones you're working on, by passing them to tilt up or tilt args. But did you know, you can now call only tilt args to enter interactive mode, pre-filled with the current arguments? Try it out for yourself!
