animals are deliberately made disabled by the industries you’re defending.
read beasts of burden: animal and disability liberation by sunaura taylor.

Sapience does not equal intelligence. Also probably not a good look to compare the disabled to animals
How do you ethically steal a calf from its mother, or skin an animal that just wanted to live? The product itself is unethical, not just the process. There is no ethical way to exploit another.

Some great news for factory-farmed pigs last night.
In Iowa and Kansas, voters rejected the lead sponsors of the Save Our Bacon Act in both the House and Senate: Rep. Ashley Hinson and Sen. Roger Marshall.
These were the politicians who did the pork lobby’s bidding and tried to wipe out every state ban on selling pork from crated pigs.
Yet even in two of the most pro-agriculture states in the country, it cost them more votes than it won them.
The politicians who follow the factory farming lobby aren’t as safe as they thought.

my favorite thing about voting is taking my son with me and the people always give him a sticker too, and i post a picture of two stickers on my shirt and say "wow i can't believe they let me vote twice" on facebook and seeing all my wife's distant cousins get super pissed off

It’s hard to face how terribly we treat nearly all the animals we raise for food while thinking of ourselves as compassionate people.
The cognitive dissonance is just enormous, so we look away, or turn their suffering into a joke to make ourselves more comfortable.
