Thanks to @backblaze for helping @pittstate configure our @Commvault backup system and the #BackBlaze file system for #objectlock . Now #immutable copy of our #Commvault enterprise backups are both offsite and safe from #ransomware in the BackBlaze storage cloud.
Evacuated all the virtual workload from one of our two on-campus datacenters to keep things safe and running during some electrical work this week. #Hedvig private cloud from @Commvault and #vCloud from @VMware made that workload migration a seamless and zero-downtime event.

Last evening, we had a 12 minute outage on our WAN circuit between PSU and WSU, disconnecting one of our @HedvigInc distributed storage nodes. The others marched on. The WSU node automatically re-synced when the connection was restored. #ZeroDownTime #PrivateCloudsRock
