Most look at this and react with 😠 or 🫣. I wonder if this would actually work. The almost imperceptible difference in trace length is a meaningful time delay when running over a gigahertz. Is a cpu durable enough to survive? My money says no.

This is all we’re gonna do for now. If it leaks too much there’s another thicker sheet of styrofoam I can get to add as another layer.
Apparently the window I knew needed fixing was just a screen with plastic over it. I’m not sure I’m qualified to fix it properly but we’ll at least make sure air isn’t pouring in all winter again this year.

I replaced the brain on our oven when I was 15. You don’t need to work at SpaceX to just do things. I also learned you should unplug electronics before working on them.
Perks of austin is having a SpaceX electrical engineer and a robotics mechanical engineer help fix your oven

My eyes are always on the LORD, because he frees my feet from the net. Turn toward me and be gracious to me, because I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the distress of my heart, Bring me out of my anguish. See my affliction and my trouble, and take away all my sins. See my enemies —how they have increased, and how violently they hate me! Guard my life and rescue me. Do not let me be put to shame, for I have taken refuge in you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because I wait for you. Redeem Israel, O God, from all its distress! Psalm 25:15-22

Made it a full 5k this morning and brought my phone along. Boy my photography skills are rusty.

There’s no worse kitchen tragedy than realizing the family size bag of shredded cheese you thought you had in the fridge doesn’t actually exist. I should just implement a rule that I grab a bag every time I’m at the store.

Since Christ has full atonement made and brought to us salvation, each Christian therefore may be glad and build on this foundation.
Your grace alone, dear Lord, I plead, your death is now my life indeed, for you have paid my ransom. CW 558:6

I barely had enough time to run home and change to red before rushing off to the area reformation service. Salem Lutheran Church outside Ann Arbor was the first Lutheran church in Michigan, founded in 1833. The current building was built in 1870.
It was almost physically painful to not wear red for church today, but bells were playing and our dress code is all black. 😩

It’s hardly even cold out but I can already tell that my car’s rolling resistance has increased.

Your blood, not mine, O Christ, Can heal my sinful soul; Your wounds, not mine, contain The balm that makes me whole. To whom but you who can alone For sin atone, Lord, shall I flee? CW 560:2

Recorded my grandpa telling tales about our family, but all knowledge seems to stop at the generation that came to America. I’ll have to get that transcribed somehow. It seems like Poland has a few websites that help you track family through parish records. Maybe that will help.

Was out with some friends today and the homecoming dress discourse was mentioned.

These denominational differences we have are real, and they matter, but at the same time it’s all so sad. 😞
