I really think I mean it this time I'm just going to go off my meds so I never have to talk to another doctor ever again. if I die going off the heart meds then I die but at least I won't have to make appointments and beg for med refills and get threatened with not getting them

The closer another Christmas alone where no one even texts or calls me bc i dont matter at all comes the more and more I realize how much I really need to make myself not alive anymore for it.

The other worst part is I don't even know if physical therapy is worth it , there's no way an EDS friendly PT that does home visits is covered by medicaid, and I don't have money for out of pocket, so even if I DID get home PT approved they'd likely do more harm than good right

but on the other hand my back is AWFUL right now and has been for 2.5 months, clearly this isn't going away on its own and there's just nothing I can do about it.

the main reason I can't do therapy despite desperately needing it is therapist is, I assume by design & culture, too abled and gaslights me about the most basic experience of my life like "doctors offices aren't LYING to you they're doing their best to help you!"

Then it turned out they didn't give me that at all. Like I asked and clarified at least 4x with the dentist and other staff and was told that's exactly what it was, and then they made me the most basic night guard and clearly made no effort to give me the thing I asked for.

& worst part is medicaid doesn't pay so I had to pay upfront. this was like, 4 months ago and I still don't have ANY night guard. THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE IS CONSTANTLY LIKE 100% of the FUCKING TIME!! But no I'm "crazy" bc no one in medicine would ever lie to me it's not possible.

like FIVE MONTHS AGO I told them a ceiling fan is super noisy bc it's installed wrong in the ceiling. They've suddenly decided, 5 months later (whilst ignoring electrical problems, termites, mildew, mold, etc) this is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD.

The landlord dropped off two new fans at my house?? and they're super heavy and I shouldn't lift them but now have to 🙄 and they want me to call an electrician to schedule installing the fan to replace the "broken" one. WHICH IS NOT BROKEN! IT JUST NEEDS SOME SCREWS TIGHTENED!!!

Just wish we lived in a society where the response to 'it's hard to wear masks for 8-12+ hr shifts daily' was 'so let's invest in indoor air cleaning technology to replace masks' and not 'so let's just kill vulnerable people so we don't have to do anything at all."

amazon should give you 20% of your order value in store credit for each day they don't get you your order past the "one day" delivery they said it would be there. I wouldn't have ordered from them at all if I knew it would take longer than a day.

I don't understand when I see people on here being like 'make sure you have a tx plan BEFORE you need it!!' re covid bc like. That's not a fucking thing I can do as a patient. I can talk to my drs and they're like "idk man good luck, hope you don't catch it."

I can't take pax bc med interaction, MABs are no good now, molnupiravir is basically gone, remdesivir is only administered under inpatient observation and I can't ask for that in advance. Literally wtf do you expect high risk patients to do? Just feels really victim blaming.
