This made me laugh. This is what it's come to for the A-League. Is a 30,000 seat stadium sold out for a derby in a city of 5.4 million people. Of course not, because no one cares about mcfranchises and it's in desperate need of renewal, but they've sold 1 bit of the stadium.

More than 40 years in the game & Robbie Slater still can’t comprehend tribalism, rivalry & why fans of old clubs wont go & watch an A-league team. I wouldn’t expect a Sydney FC fan to watch my club either. There’s a reason he worships the ground Frank Lowy walks on.

If your AFL club was suddenly ended because the AFL said fresh new competition with new teams placed all around the country. Perfectly catering for every market, how would you feel? Would you think "cool I can still go to games"? To not understand that is just dumb.
