I escaped a clever and slicky hacker who tried to trick me into installing a trojan horse on my machine. A "lady" from LinkedIn notified me of a lucrative job the had for me and pointed me to the interview with the supposed CTO....
3/3. He'd asked me to share my screen so one part of my screen was shared and I used the other part to inform my LLM about it, shared the repo link and instructed it to analyze it. It reported RED ALERT!!. Beware of these unethical hackers guys!!
I signified interested and attended the call. This dude interviews me briefly, asks some basic technical questions, and decides to test my Javascript prowess. He asks me to clone the github repo to which I agreed to.... 2/3.
