Bengaluru, meet Paxo 🐻
Ask it like a local:
→ best filter coffee in around JP Nagar
→ 2BHK under ₹25k in Indiranagar
→ rooftop bars in Koramangala
→ weekend getaway, an hours drive away?
Real places, real listings, 📌 on the map as you type 🔎
I went through every data vendor that launched in the last 3 weeks. Almost all of them are lying about their revenue, their lab partnerships, and their backgrounds.
(skip to 1:04 if you want to skip context)
Too many founders and VCs have been fooled by these people. Stop believing everything you hear. Data is much harder than most people think.
my unfiltered thoughts on the data industry right now:
there are too many brokers in the data space. in the last 4 months this industry has become the new equivalent to dropshipping.
i have no issue with that. but if your entire moat is spam calling smb owners all day and begging them to license their data for a micro1 referral fee, you are not going to make it, and you are not the next mercor. most of you are not building anything at all.
to everyone reading this, and the hundreds of other posts on your timeline from 18 year old sf kids claiming $200m run rates please ignore them. these are the modern day elizabeth holmes’.
they're taking one day of contracted (not paid) revenue and multiplying it by 365. the worst i've seen is someone who made $100k off a micro1 referral fee in 6 hours and claimed they're at a $73m run rate (12 (daily working hours) / 6 x $100k x 365).
this is literal fraud, especially if you raise money off of this claim. you see this in a lot of yc companies in recent batches.
the only businesses i see surviving this are the giants that already exist (mercor, micro1, surge ai, turing) and the non consensus bets: consumer data collection apps like kled, robotics data collection companies like build ai and meckaai, etc.
tldr: don’t believe everything you read, and just brokering company data is not a venture scale business and should not be claimed as such.
Ever wondered how the whole 8 Worlds (each having 4 levels) of Mario fit under 20 KILO BYTES??

what if you use many agents? which I guess we all do 🤔

Give your Instinct a budget
Built with @Stripe and @link, we're launching Link balance in @instinct. You can now set a budget for your Instinct to make purchases on your behalf, and Instinct does the rest.
You choose how much money to add and set a limit for each purchase. Your Instinct can spend within those limits, without needing access to your credit card or asking for approval every time.
That means buying tickets as soon as the presale opens, picking up your size when the trail runners restock, or reordering your favorite coffee beans every other week.
Link balance is rolling out to Instinct users across the US starting today, with New York coming soon.
Ask your Instinct to set up Link balance and it’ll send you a link to get started.

A financial firm doing biological research wasn't on my cards, but then we're in 2026!
Expect complete blurring of boundaries going forward.
Everything will unbundle - organizations, functions, roles, identity.
What is AI really capable of in bio?
To separate hype from reality, we spent 3 months working firsthand with @AnthropicAI's internal research model to see if it could create an experimental scorpion antivenom.

Giving an AI agent your actual credit card still feels like a bad idea.👀😤
But agents sometimes need to pay for tools to get things done.
I tried @getvaaya Wallet:
Your card details never reach the agent, and you can dispute transactions you didn't authorize.
Give your agent a budget, not your card!

You have a very particular set of skills.
Reading a term sheet. Fixing a Shopify store. Auditing an financial model. Sorting out GST paperwork. Reviewing a contract. Writing a cold email that gets replies. Planning a Japan trip in one evening. Negotiating with a landlord. Picking the right mango from the pile. Writing the "per my last email" email.
People ask you for these one at a time. You never turned any of them into a product. No time, no energy, and distribution is scary.
OpenRecipe's first expert cohort is open. You bring the expertise and your network. We bring the product, monitization and the distribution framework.
We'll make it big together.

We made a wallet for AI agents. Buy stocks, get a credit line, escrow. Then 3000+ APIs and a pile of recipes. Everyone got confused.
So here's the split:
> OpenRecipe: home for recipes, tools and builders.
> Vaaya: the base layer. Payments, credit, escrow.
Want agents to pay for your wares? Embed the Vaaya wallet or use the SDK.
Got a recipe to list on OpenRecipe? Let's cocreate.
