JUST IN: 🇪🇺 @StellarOrg Blockchain Helps Cut European Debt-Servicing Process From 30 Days to 24 Hours
@PwC_de has introduced a blockchain-powered debt-servicing solution for EOS Group, using @StellarOrg to automate structured waterfall distributions.
Developed in collaboration with implementation partner @Tokenforge, the system reduces the allocation process from around 30 days of intermediary-led spreadsheet reconciliation to just 24 hours.
The solution also uses @AllUnityStable’s MiCA-compliant euro stablecoin for payments, aligning the process with the EU Securitization Regulation.
By combining blockchain infrastructure with regulated euro-denominated digital payments, this initiative demonstrates how onchain technology can streamline complex financial operations and improve efficiency across European markets.
The move highlights @StellarOrg’s growing role in real-world financial applications, where faster settlement processes, automation and regulatory compliance are key priorities.

Where digital securities in Europe actually stand, on one timeline.
Germany built the legal base step by step, and it started early. Crypto custody licensing in 2020, among the first frameworks worldwide. The eWpG creating the crypto securities register in 2021. KryptoFAV making it operational. ZuFinG opening it to registered shares. By now, issuing a regulated digital security is a solved problem. But issuance was only ever half the picture.
Every securities trade has two legs: the asset moves, and money moves in return. The asset leg has been running on-chain for years. The money leg has not. Until now, the cash side of a tokenized trade had to settle in commercial bank money or stablecoins. For institutions, that carries counterparty and settlement risk many of them simply cannot take. No safe cash leg, no secondary market at institutional scale. That single gap is what has quietly held the whole thing back.
This is exactly what the ECB's Pontes closes. It links market DLT platforms to the Eurosystem's TARGET Services, so the cash leg settles in central bank money, the safest settlement asset there is, synchronized with the token moving on-chain. Real delivery versus payment, on-chain, in central bank money. Its technical foundation builds partly on the Deutsche Bundesbank's Trigger Solution, the same approach already used to settle Germany's digital bonds. Pilot from Q3 2026, production from 2028. And the ECB has been explicit: despite the "pilot" label, Pontes is here to stay.
So here is where we stand. The asset side of tokenization is built. With Pontes, the settlement side is being built too. That is the piece that turns a working framework into one that scales institutionally.

Founded in Hamburg in 2021, tokenforge builds the infrastructure layer for issuing digital securities in the EU — a white-label suite covering investor onboarding, KYC, wallet setup, audited smart contract templates and issuer dashboards, aligned with MiCAR, MiFID II and the German eWpG. The company was involved in one of the first eWpG-compliant issuances in Germany in 2022 and has since supported more than 50 tokenisation projects across Europe, including a hotel bond with Lindner Hotel Group and a tokenised real estate platform with MyHouse AG.
The reference point that matters more than any of it: when a client runs their second issuance without calling anyone, technology has become infrastructure.
