Since our first drill results in September:
• Spodumene intersected in all four holes reported to date at Norrabees I, including 8.0 m at 1.70% Li₂O (incl. 4.0 m at 2.59%) and 7.5 m at 1.97% Li₂O (incl. 6.0 m at 2.27%). Downhole lengths; true widths not yet known.
• Three rigs drilling; 1,000 m channel sampling program underway across 15 spodumene-bearing pegmatites
• Two non-binding offers received to fund the project, including a US$60 million investment proposal
• Targeting first spodumene concentrate production in H2 2027, subject to permits, approvals and financing.
Further assays expected Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.

Today: An outcrop view from the location for initial channel sampling at the Norrabees VI pegmatite, Springbok Project, South Africa 🇿🇦, showing purple to pink spodumene crystals within the pegmatite.
Channel sampling cuts a continuous groove across exposed pegmatite, giving our geologists a representative surface sample while drilling continues.

Sentiment on lithium has turned very negative, mostly on the back of unrelated bits of information. So let's talk numbers, not opinions. What do we actually know?
Demand. The hard data: China's battery production through August 2026 is up the equivalent of ~400kt LCE vs last year. If we carry only part of that growth through to year-end, Chinese batteries alone add at least ~500kt LCE of demand vs 2025.
Supply. Here the only hard data is exporters' trade statistics. Change vs 2025, in kt LCE (YTD Aug → full-year 2026F):
🇦🇺 Australia: +30 → +60
🇨🇱 Chile: +70 → +50
🇦🇷 Argentina: +30 → +65
🇧🇷 Brazil: -10 → -15
🌍 Africa: +50 → +65
🇨🇦 Canada: 0 → 0
🇨🇳 China: +40 → +70 (the softest number)
Total: +210 → ~+295
Even after adding the production that projects and producers have announced, 2026 supply growth comes to roughly 300kt. It's not much more than that. It can't be much more than that.
So for 2026:
Demand: +500kt
Supply: ~+300kt
Balance: a deficit of ~200kt LCE
The deficit is already here.
2027? The bears say demand will pull back. That's much harder to agree or disagree with. But the inventory drawdown happening right now will clearly push the market into deficit.

The Springbok Project anchors Lithium Africa's portfolio: a district-scale hard rock lithium asset with significant exploration upside and potential near-term, non-dilutive funding options. Industry-wide, new mines have averaged 15.7 years from discovery to production. At Springbok, we are targeting first production in approximately one year, subject to receipt of permits and approvals, and completion of financing.
