Well done to the T&O research team who finished recruitment to the virtual reality study on Wednesday!
Can VR replace sedation in surgery? A new TORC funded study uses VR as a distraction for knee replacement patients to see if using less sedation improves recovery outcomes.
Earlier this month, Prof John Wong gave 2 talks at the European Foot and Ankle Society Annual Congress in Augsburg, Germany. He spoke on treating non-union after arthrodesis in Müller-Weiss and optimising contributions from surgeons with hearing loss. Well done John!
