Last week, I went to see “Row” a musical inspired by my book. Here I am (next to the tree) watching the incomparable Grace McLean playing … me. Was I dreaming? It was astounding, thoughtful, heartbreaking, and fun, all at once.
I am so fortunate to have become friends with @DawnLandes, who wrote the music for “Row,” a musical based on my memoir. Dawn also has a new baby boy, and before he arrived, I was able to deliver this gift that I made. It's a tiny bit smaller than the American Pearl.
It was great to be with Dawn last week as we watched a beautiful world premiere performance of “Row” at the @WTFestival.
