HCKH-Launch-News: We officially launched the Hamburg Center for Kidney Health (HCKH) together with the leadership of the University of Hamburg (@unihh) and University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (@UKEHamburg), and distinguished international leaders from the European Renal Association (ERA) (@ERAkidney, @torra_roser), International Society of Nephrology (ISN) (@ISNkidneycare, @kidneydoc101), International Society of Glomerular Disease (ISGD) (@ISGDtweets), African Association of Nephrology (AFRAN) (@Rasha_Darwish_), NephCure Kidney International (@nephcure), Greifswald University (@uni_greifswald, @EndlichNicole) and UTMB (@utmbhealth, @JochenReiser) alongside patients, clinicians, scientists, and the next generation of kidney researchers. HCKH is now among the world's leading academic platforms for kidney health, bringing together more than 250 kidney experts and internationally recognized programs spanning precision medicine, AI, systems biology, biobanking, integrated patient care, education, and translation. Our ambition: to redefine kidney medicine, from understanding disease mechanisms to delivering precision therapies, and to translate scientific discovery into longer, healthier lives for people living with kidney disease.
