Let’s be honest, @GNev2 — many of the same “middle-aged white men” you’re now blaming were the ones who cheered you on and helped pay for that car you’re driving when you played for England 🇬🇧 You live in a millionaire bubble and have absolutely no idea how ordinary people are feeling right now — frightened, frustrated, and desperate for unity in our own country. The Union flag is not a symbol of hate. It’s a symbol of pride, community, and belonging. 
If seeing our national flag offends you, maybe it’s not the flag that’s the problem — maybe it’s the way you view the people who fly it. We should never feel ashamed to fly our flag.
