Everyone says risk management matters, but most people only pay it lip service. Everything I do is written down, from 1% risk per trade to the checklists I trade from. If you want to see how I trade, my free class is the place to start thegrowmeco.com/trading-busi…

A target twice as far away takes more than twice as long to reach, because price has to clear every level in between and any of them can turn it. I've written up why I take some off at the first real level thegrowmeco.com/consistent-p…

A position that's up 30% isn't money you have. Until it's closed it can go all the way back, and plenty do. If price gets to the target you set, take it. Hoping it runs further isn't a plan.

When a leveraged trade goes against you, the exchange will happily let you add margin to push the liquidation price further away. It feels like a rescue. All you've done is put more money on a trade that's already telling you it was wrong.

If a trade is stressing you out, your position is probably too big. Check how much you can lose and where you're wrong. If you can't answer both, cut the size until you can. If you want to see how I approach it, my free class is the place to start thegrowmeco.com/trading-busi…

The Fed decision lands in the early hours tomorrow our time. I don't trade the number. If I've got a position on, the stop stays where it is and the size is the same as any other trade. If I'm flat, I wait for the dust to settle.

Most liquidations come down to no clear entry, no stop-loss and no idea how much you're risking. Sort those three before you click. If you want to see how I approach it, my free class is the place to start thegrowmeco.com/trading-busi…

I wanted to share today's scan from my discord community. I take a list of the perp contracts with over $3 million in daily volume and then do a scan on tradingview. I get the list from Market Intern. Some days there will be loads of options, other days there will be none. This scan will show you a glimpse of what we do in the community scans. It is about understanding where we are in the market right NOW and moving with it even if moving with it means doing nothing. The weekly time frames are what really have my attention right now. I hope this finds you well. My door is open when you are ready.

Most stops that get hunted were never targeted. They sat in the same obvious spot as everyone else's, just under support, and price went there because that's where the orders were. I've written up how to use that thegrowmeco.com/is-crypto-ma…

#Bitcoin - The time frame that represents the trend the best is the one where the focus should go. It is far too easy to place too much expectation on a market or a time frame you might like to trade on. What often happens though is the focus is on the wrong time frame and the results don't come. The time frame I am reading as the dominant trend right now for bitcoin is the weekly and this video breaks it down so hopefully it makes sense. Time to be patient. bitcoin:native

#Bitcoin closes another week in the red. Am I worried? No. The weekly trend is the trend that is ruling right now with everything else just a mess as you go lower than that time frame. This is so far healthy and all that is required is patience, something very hard for many. We will get optimal markets again, we will get great trends again but for now it's hurry up and wait for me. If I do trade it will be for 1:1 targets on. Straight in and out as soon as my risk is matched with reward. Very simple stuff, very boring as well. I will be sharing a LOT more on tomorrow's free newsletter so if you're not on it jump in here: thegrowmeco.com/

Most traders get stuck in the same stage for years, because they go strategy shopping when the strategy was never the problem. I've written up the three stages every trader goes through, and how to tell where you are thegrowmeco.com/three-stages…

For those trading US equities. Market Intern also runs on FOREX and US equities and this stock $VLO is looking very nice. FOREX is still pretty cluttered from a trend perspective but US equities are starting to show some options. If you want to trial the software you can for free for 7-days just visit: marketintern.com/

Bitcoin is a sideways mess on the mid term time frames. The weekly however has something to say along with a number of other altcoins for which a spot position might be the outcome. Have a watch and hit me with any questions you may have.

Even when someone's trade calls are honest and good, following them teaches you nothing, because you never had the reason for the trade and can't manage it. I've written up why, and what I'd do with a call instead thegrowmeco.com/trading-sign…

In todays' free newsletter I will be going into detail about how I use the weekly chart to get perspective for longer term swing trades. This is a great time to go into this topic as there are some options I am watching. This leans towards spot buying as well, simply because it is a longer term play.
