The Ministry of Heavy Industries is organising the Conference on “Enabling Nationwide EV Charging Infrastructure under PM E-DRIVE Scheme” today in Bengaluru. Hon’ble Union Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The conference will bring together representatives from States/UTs, Charge Point Operators (CPOs), EV OEMs, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), CPSEs, automobile associations, and other key stakeholders to deliberate on strengthening India’s EV charging ecosystem, addressing range anxiety, promoting clean and sustainable mobility, and accelerating the country’s transition towards energy-efficient and low-carbon transportation systems, in line with the vision of #AtmaNirbharBharat and the goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2070.
