We're expanding the rollout of NaviLens, an app that increases accessibility for riders who are blind, have low vision, or limited English proficiency, thanks to a federal grant! 📱
@NaviLens reads signs aloud, providing audible train & bus arrivals to help users navigate, and has been successfully piloted at Jay St-MetroTech station, and on the M23-SBS.
Additionally, the NaviLens Go app provides sighted users with visual navigation and trip information in up to 34 different languages.
Stay tuned for subway and bus stops you'll find NaviLens QR codes in the future, and you can download NaviLens and NaviLens Go in the iOS and Android app stores now.
