someone asked hao what his favorite word in his mother tongue is i think on the japanese fc qna and hao said ‘已老实’ which is online slang / mz word for saying ‘i’ve already accepted the situation’ (usually it’s tinged with an undertone of helplessness in a slightly humorous / self-deprecating way)
老实 means someone who is obedient and doesn’t cause trouble / a rule-follower
已 means ‘already’
<the word is kinda hard to explain so i’ll give an example>
ex: coworker complained last week there wasn’t enough work to do but this week she had to work overtime for two days, she 已老实
in terms of ‘being comfortable and giving up greed’, saying 已老实 is used to express acceptance of <situation of less greed> as opposed to <greedier situation you wanted before>

Every local business is dying,
Every road has potholes,
The beaches and natural parks die by the day
Florida has been in the stranglehold of Republican leadership for 3 decades.
And in that time:
🚧 FL infrastructure has NOT improved.
📚 FL education has NOT improved.
💸 FL tax burden has NOT improved.
🛒 FL cost of living has NOT improved.
🚔 FL public safety has NOT improved.
🚑 FL healthcare system has NOT improved.
It’s time for a change. Republicans had their chance to improve our lives.
