“You just spooked everyone by saying stockpile (for a crisis)” Andy Burnham:- <Smug look & laughs knowingly> “It’s a challenging World” The UK PM treats the Public with absolute contempt after telling everyone they need to “prepare for a crisis” - now we can’t even keep a straight face‼️ The Big Bamboozle

Having the death penalty for brown people but not for white people is not racist. No Sir, not at all. How dare you think that. @andyburnham
BREAKING: Israel's parliament has officially passed a law imposing the death penalty by hanging for Palestinian detainees. At least 10,000 Palestinian prisoners could be at risk of execution.

Our dear leaders point at the GDP number and say we're a rich country, well done us. The number doesn't show that 90% of the money is spent on barely surviving bills.
This is depressing, I had hoped it wouldn't be so dominantly 'worse'. And its not just here, the result is broadly similar across all four platforms I polled on.

Socialist Jews were specifically banned from traveling to Palestine on the direct orders of Winston Churchill. – at Wallasey, England
Adverts for Montefiore's 'The Cauldron' all over the net and the media. Saturation. I've just read this excerpt in which he claims that early Zionist settlers in Palestine dreamt of socialist partnerships with Arab farmers until the Arabs turned round and started shouting "kill the Jews". Nothing about the eviction of Arab tenant farmers when land was bought from these absentee landlords, or schemes like Kibbush Ha'avoda ("Conquest of Labor") or Avoda Ivrit ("Hebrew Labor"), which saw Arab farmworkers dismissed with no other sources of income. For decades we have allowed the likes of Montefiore to distort and rewrite history. As a young man I was taught that the very idea of the predominance and relentless promotion of the Zionist narrative is an antisemitic conspiracy theory. But that's the core of the narrative.

This is where we are at in Britain. If you dare to describe a demonstrably and historically racist political ideology as ‘racist,’ then @EdwardJDavey and @andyburnham will guarantee the victory of a racist government in Britain.
To be clear: both the Lib Dems and Labour are saying that they will refuse to form a coalition with the Greens, even if it as the expense of a Reform or Tory government, because of a Green Party conference motion condemning a political ideology that’s led to genocide? Really?

I'm glad Caitlin doesn't have a "tribe". Her writing is too eloquent and inspirational to be restricted. – at Wallasey, England
I don't really fit in with any group. Too woo-woo spiritual for the Marxists. Too angry for the Buddhists. Too political for the nondualists. Too much of a liberal-hating commie for the witches. Too radical for the socdems or demsocs. Too grown up for the anarchists. If hippies were real I guess I'd be one of those. Like, if it had been more than psychedelic-fueled idealism that collapsed into vapid yuppiedom as soon as the drugs wore off. I'd be a hippie if there were something more substantial to it than navel-gazing escapism, because at least in theory they try to synthesize the political and the spiritual. They did glimpse something real, the hippies. They did intuit a possible world that absolutely is waiting to be born. A mass awakening and transformation of human consciousness is entirely possible, and actually appears to be gestating deep beneath the chaos and confusion of this strange modern world. The LSD left their systems and they all became landlords, but that doesn't mean their visions and insights were showing them something false. But these days I feel like I have more in common with a completely unspiritual Marxist or an entirely apolitical person who's had some transformative spiritual insights than I have with the typical hippie, because their politics and spirituality seldom seem to meet anywhere particularly authentic. Most of them are either vaguely progressive liberals or QAnon wingnuts who use spiritual concepts as emotional pacifiers to comfort them in their unhealed trauma. I guess my lack of a clear group or political faction is just what happens when you're acutely aware that at this point in spacetime humans are too crazy and unreliable to form alliances with any particular contingent. I've found it best to just stick to my confidence in my own view and boost various causes and agendas on a case by case basis rather than clique up with any one political sect, because for the moment none of them are reliably lucid enough for me to trust them with my loyalty. So I wander around without any clear, cohesive tribe. I share my messages and they resonate with an eclectic group of misfits from all across the globe, and we hold hands together as we spin off into an increasingly bizarre future on this beautiful blue planet of ours. And today I'm really appreciating that. I love this weird little community I get to interact with on a daily basis, sharing ideas, art and poetry about news, politics and spirituality with whomever happens to feel inspired by them. I don't know what kind of future we're moving into — could be very, very bad, could be very, very good. But I'm glad we're moving into it together.

Liberal Democrats: proud of attacking the disabled in exchange for 5p carrier bags.
Our party has zero tolerance for racism. We welcome the announcement that the Liberal Democrats will not work with the Green Party nationally, and call on local government colleagues across the UK to show the same leadership to marginalise this fringe and extremist party.

Does the state of Wales have the right to exist? – at Wallasey, England
Wales is not England, nor a region of it. Our institutions are different. Our communities are different. Our geography is different. Where power can sit as closely to the people it affects, it should. That’s the case I’ll be setting out tonight.
