We’re only at the beginning of the offseason so there’s a bunch of veterans that could be re-signed or just added in general. Truly would be nice to see Cal and Julio both step up to not need those guys.

Cal and Julio spending some time together this offseason feels notable. I would love to see both of these dudes take this team over officially.

Any Astros hate during the first presser was wildly encouraged

Kanzler crushed his first press conference. Seems incredible likeable and very intelligent. Winning is all that really matters but he did a great job in his first public setting.

He’s too personable, going to have to cancel our MLBTV to avoid my wife seeing this .

"You should hire a guy who's ready to win. Not a guy who needs to learn on the job." @AJPierzynski12 and @ErikKratz31 discuss whether Jason Kanzler is the right hire for the Mariners...

There might not be a worse period of time on this app than when baseball ends and political posts fill the timeline. I'd rather watch the worst Mariner game of 2026 repeatedly than have to scroll through it right now.

The newest proposal is giving me a bit of hope, giving teams time to prepare. - Salary cap starts in 2028 so teams have time to prepare -Cap of $258.2M and floor of $180.2M (last proposal was $245.3M and $171.2M) -$1 million minimum salary (up from $780K) -Free agency after five years instead of six
