The wait is over. Ghost Koil is OUT NOW!
A New Kind of Weird…
-
Ghost Koil is an exploration of bowed metal and controlled chaos. Built from bowed springs, screws, saws, and other found objects, every sound begins as an organic performance before evolving into something darker. From haunting drones and evolving pads to unsettling textures, playable bowed instruments, metallic percussion, and unpredictable effects, Ghost Koil delivers an inspiring palette for horror, dark cinematic scoring, ambient music, psychological thrillers, and any project that thrives on tension and unease.
As part of the Ghost Series, Ghost Koil embraces the beauty of real acoustic performances while pushing them into new sonic territory. You'll discover both the raw recordings and processed versions, with many MOD FX patches that let you seamlessly morph between the two using the modulation wheel. Sculpt sounds that breathe, growl, shimmer, and break apart. Explore playable bowed instruments, menus of atonal and non-pitched effects, metallic and found sound percussion, and loops crafted from the original source material.

Serious answers only….
My HOA sent me a letter requesting that I stop handing out full-size candy bars for Halloween this year.
-Fun-size bars are usually 15–25¢ each.
-Full-size are around 75¢–$1.
Most people give out 2–3 fun-size anyway, so the real difference is often only a few cents per kid.
Am I crazy, or is it weird for an HOA to police this?
Let’s get spooky! Kevin from The Sampleist reviews Ghost Koil.
