25 years ago today, we introduced the iPod. 1,000 songs in your pocket. A small team. An unforgiving deadline. We had months to bring the hardware, software, and music experience together. Proud of what we built and that it means so much to people still today. A device that has been woven in many ways into our lives. People have filled their iPods with road trips, breakups, workouts, special occasions with family and friends. How cool that the iPod has become part of culture and our stories. 25 years, it’s hard to believe! Celebrating the team that made it happen today 👏 @StevenLevy was there from the start @WIRED wired.com/story/im-still-con…

What a ceremonial first pitch. Bud Selig passes the baseball to Robin Yount. Yount points up. Chants of "Ueck" fill the ballpark. What a moment. #Brewers

My favorite baseball player of all time (Robin Yount) is throwing out the first pitch at the World Series tonight. His plaque in Cooperstown reads: "A prolific hitter with stoic demeanor, who was equally graceful at Shortstop and Center Field."

Has anyone done this with their Frame TV yet?
Vibe coded my parents' TV this afternoon! It was showing a sponsored ad before you could even get to Netflix. Gave Claude Code the model number, it found the TV on wifi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and wrote a new launcher. Looks like an Apple TV now lol

I am thrilled to say The Running Ground is now live on Google’s new Expert Intelligence feature in @Gemini_Notebook. This means you can buy my book and upload it to Gemini Notebook, and then access all sorts of materials related to my running: my training logs, research papers I’ve read, podcast interviews I’ve done, and essays I’ve written. You can ask about everything from how to train the way I did when I ran my 2:29 marathon to my opinion on diet and recovery—and it pulls directly from these sources. I am fascinated by how AI is going to change the way we read and interact with books, and this program is a very neat example of where we might be heading. @stevenbjohnson. Here’s the US version of the notebook: notebooklm.google.com/notebo… And the international version: notebook.google.com/notebook…
