From breadwinners to bystanders: The death spiral of the American working man thehill.com/opinion/finance/… I think I solved the problem. It turns out the college students don’t like the jobs that ARE available nor are they starting businesses that are hard to do. easy

The US sending its largest battleship to the Mediterranean to help a well-armed country counter a group of murderous teenagers on converted bicycles & hang-gliders is (particularly after the Afghanistan debacle) emblematic of the severe mismatch between bureaucrats & reality.

“Let me be clear, we did not move the carrier for Hamas,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan told reporters Tuesday at the White House. “We moved the carrier to send a clear message of deterrence to other states or nonstate actors that might seek to widen this war.” thehill.com/policy/defense… news.usni.org/2023/10/09/ger…

Doug Burgum seems to be the only one on stage that understands that the government is causing the problems, and the only way to fix it is to stop government meddling in private industry

As a long time, colleague and friend of Jim’s, I am a very sad to hear of his passing away. He had incredible spirit and charisma and drive and a personality that was easy to be swept away by. His laughs and leader ship will be remembered.

Seeing left and right try to dump on this non-debacle launch is laughable. Tech is unpredictable. If you wanted to listen to it you just needed a little patience and care. Lady Luck is golden she favors the bold…well that’s cold. (Rush Roll the Bones). #fakeDeSaster Shows true colors of those in power.

AI is operational only if it produces the results that were requested of it at least that’s how it is today and as long as that continues which I think is good as a form of limit to itself. The threat of AI seems to continue to point back to those who control it and control It’s truths and its programming. Should probably all have a miniature AI to control ourselves if that’s the direction that goes.

It is my current view that any catastrophic demise caused by AI will be the responsibility ultimately of those that control the training data and those that control the algorithms. They ultimately control its and failures. Not machine…Man.
