The Rawkode Academy is taking on sponsors for 2024. Each level comes with a ton of perks.
We have plans at 10,20,40, and 80k (per annum)
The best part? All plans come with some of my time (or a lot of my time), website placements, and bespoke content or courses.

Having gone through burnout, @lianmakesthings now has a proactive approach regarding
- protecting herself by setting boundaries
- it's ok to say no
- knowing what you are working towards, tracking progress, having a clear goal for your hard work
How do you prevent burnout?

this piece is called "How to Recruit and Onboard Neurodivergent People", but -- and I realize this is not a novel insight, by any means 🤣 -- it does pretty fucking great as a piece on making interviews/onboarding better for everyone. blog.container-solutions.com…

This was a good overview of the Kubernetes configuration landscape. It's probably time for an update. Most of the config projects in the old spreadsheet (docs.google.com/spreadsheets…) appear abandoned. Which ones are popular now? A survey would be useful, but github stars are easy
Here are the slides from my talk "Kubernetes Config Management Landscape" at #FOSDEM (#cfgmgmtcamp) today.
Thanks again for coming to my talk and discussing this topic 😃

To support let’s-change-the-world mindsets, gutsy optimism and future-proof thinking, we start from the inside - and that’s with our people.
And we’ve got new people to introduce! We’re excited to help them grow and for them to help us do the same.🧵#ThisIsCS

Some folks at @containersoluti and I demystified #Kubernetes Ingress, and wrote up our learnings here inlaymansterms.io/blog/kuber…
It breaks down some misconceptions and explains exactly how Ingress does what it does, and how we figured it out.
ALT Diagram showing the overall architecture of an Ingress controller, starting with a LoadBalancer sending traffic through a NodePort into an Ingress Pod and then into 2 application pods. It also illustrates a Service created by the application Pods, creating an Endpoints object which the Ingress is watching for changes. The Ingress is also illustrated as watching for any Ingress Objects in the cluster.

For those of you watching @rawkode's Klustered with @containersoluti and @CivoCloud , I thought I should explain my hack/breakage.
It was the one where an unexpected website appeared although it looked like things were running.
